Hex devour hope6/22/2023 If you never plan to down survivors before reaching tier three Ruin is your better choice.Ĭorrupt Intervention – Another generator defense perk. Since it can take a while to gather the evil necessary to tier up, you’ll need some generator regression. Pop Goes the Weasel/Hex: Ruin – Comes down to your personal preference. You can use this to sort of snowball your opponents into the ground. Infectious Fright – After downing a survivor, each other survivor within your terror radius will let out a scream and reveal their location to you. The perks you should bring in with this set up are: Myers Memorial” add-ons to make the downside of the Tuft of Hair more manageable. To counter this you can bring in either the “Memorial Flower or J. This add-on is what allows Myers to stay in tier three, but it comes at the cost of lower evil being able to be gained from stalking survivors. How this is going to work is thanks to one of his add-ons called “Fragrant Tuft of Hair”. I’ll go over some of the different ways you can play him.Īs the name implies you’re going to make it so that you stay inside of tier three for the entire game. After 60 seconds you’re reverted back to tier two with the ending of the Halloween theme playing, and you must begin to stalk again to reach tier three.Īs I’ve previously stated, Michael is an incredibly versatile killer, having many different add-ons that can change the way he’s played drastically. At base this lasts 60 seconds, but there are add-ons that increase the duration. This means that any hit you land on them is enough to put them in the dying state. In this tier Michael’s vault speed and lunge range are increased and his terror radius is increased to normal, while the survivors also suffer from the Exposed status effect. Upon reaching this tier, you’ll hear the Halloween theme begin to play and Michael will raise his weapon into an overhead stance. Use this to your advantage to get easy hits on survivors.ĮVIL WITHIN TIER THREE – Michael’s final, and most powerful tier. His terror radius is basically half that of the other killers in the game, meaning Michael is still passively a somewhat stealthy killer. In this tier Michael loses undetectable but retains a lower than average terror radius. In tier two Michael’s movement speed and lunge range are returned to normal, while having a very slightly faster than normal vault speed. Upon tiering up the Halloween theme will play for a short moment.ĮVIL WITHIN TIER TWO – Now that you’ve gathered some power from the survivors, you can begin your hunt. If they notice you and run off before you can get close, just tap the Stalk button to tier up and become somewhat of a normal killer. You can leave it at 99 and try to get a grab on a survivor working on a generator. What this means is to stalk an unsuspecting survivor until your gauge is at 99%, that stalking even a little bit more will push you into tier two. To try and make the most out of your Undetectable (if you really want to make it work) you can do what’s called “99 it”. Yes, being undetectable is fun and all, but you’re incredibly weak in this tier without certain add-ons. A common mistake beginner Myers players may try and make is to stay in tier one for too long. To combat this his movement speed, vault speed and lunge range are all lessened. Let’s go over each tier and their properties.ĮVIL WITHIN TIER ONE – In tier one Michael is granted the Undetectable status effect, meaning Michael has NO terror radius or red stain. This alone can make Michael a complex killer when you first pick up the game. By holding the power button down Michael will slow his movement speed and begin to gather power from the survivors. In order to advance through the tiers, you will need to perform the Stalk action. It contains three different tiers, all with their own unique properties. Michael’s killer power is called Evil Within. *What you can do as a survivor to try and counter Michael. *My favorite Michael play styles and their perks and add-ons. Every game I can play Michael in a multitude of different styles and never have it grow old. Arguably one of the most iconic horror villains to ever grace the screens, and in Dead by Daylight, Michael Myers is one of the most versatile killers I’ve ever played and that makes him one of my favorites. The iconic theme song of the king of slashers.
